Ian Costabile is a composer and sound artist based in the UK since 2009. His works often explore interactivity, lights and spatialisation. He gained a BA degree in Composition from FAAM (Brazil), an MA in Art Aesthetics from the University of Liverpool and is currently a PhD candidate in Composition.
Since 2014 Ian has been working with sound art installations and sculptures and his ‘sound canvas’ invention (which displays spatial soundscapes and compositions on exhibition walls) has been attracting interest from sound art communities and curators interested in multisensory work.
Ian has also performed popular music in the past and taught music in several institutions. He also shares a passion for languages and writing, having published fiction and non-fiction books.
